According to preliminary information, at least five people were killed and more than 30 injured as a result of massive enemy shelling in Ukraine on Wednesday, Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin said.

"russia does not stop terror against the civilian population of Ukraine. Last night and in the morning, the enemy attacked six regions with missiles and attack UAVs. It is previously known about at least five dead and more than 30 injured," Kostin was quoted by the Prosecutor General's Office on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.

Residential buildings and civil infrastructure facilities have been destroyed. Rescue operations are continuing.

The Prosecutor General noted that criminal proceedings have been initiated on all the facts. "The terrorist state must answer for everything it has done," the Prosecutor General concluded.
