President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed the implementation of Ukraine's Peace Formula and intensification of bilateral economic relations, the press service of the Ukrainian head of state has said.

"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev," it said on the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine on Friday.

During the conversation, the interlocutors noted the importance of respect for the fundamental principles of international law regarding sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.

"The President of Ukraine spoke about the results of work of the national security advisers and foreign policy advisers on the implementation of Ukraine's Peace Formula and measures to hold the Global Peace Summit. Zelenskyy also said that today Kyiv hosts a meeting of the International Coalition for the return of Ukrainian children removed by force," the press service said.

The presidents also touched upon the issues of intensification of bilateral trade and economic relations as well as political dialogue. Zelenskyy thanked Tokayev for the humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
