Zelenskyy on conversation with Albanian PM: Today our common task is to prepare Global Peace Summit
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama discussed ways to deepen the Ukraine-Balkans dialogue and continue defense cooperation.
"I spoke on the phone with Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama. I am grateful to him for Albania's clear position regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine, support for our state in the UN Security Council, as well as defense and political support," the President of Ukraine said on the Telegram channel on Friday.
The president noted the participation of the Albanian representative in the fourth Meeting of Councilors in Davos. "Today our common task is to prepare the Global Peace Summit. We count on active support from our partners, in particular Albania," the head of the Ukrainian state said.
"In addition," as Zelenskyy said, "we discussed ways to deepen Ukraine-Balkans dialogue and continue defense cooperation. I noted the importance of continuing and expanding programs for training Ukrainian military personnel with the participation of Albania."
