Ihnat: Resuscitation won’t help Russian Il-22 aircraft, A-50 was and is priority target for AFU Air Forces

Spokesperson of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ihnat, commented on the destruction of the enemy A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft and the enemy Il-22 air control center.

“It looks like the Il-22 still held on to Anapa. A tenacious bastard. But, as you can see, the rust bucket is ‘not subject to restoration.’ Therefore, no matter how you look at it, the target is destroyed, resuscitation will not help! The plane was on fire, there are wounded among the crew, I hope dead too!” Ihnat wrote on his Facebook page.

The spokesperson stressed that the A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft was and is a priority target for the Air Force.

Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, announced the destruction by Ukrainian forces of an enemy A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft and an enemy Il-22 air control point.
