Zelenskyy changes composition of Supreme Commander-in-Chief HQ

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy changed the composition of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters, according to the decree of the head of state, former head of the State Special Communications Service Yuriy Schyhol was excluded from its composition and Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov was appointed.

"Pursuant to Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine On the Defense of Ukraine, on the basis of a proposal from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, I decide... to introduce into the staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mikhailo Albertovych Fedorov, the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology, the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine; remove Supreme Commander-in-Chief Yuriy Schyhol from the Headquarters," according to the decree published on the presidential website on November 22.

"This decree comes into force from the date of its publication," the president said in the document.
