Lyman-Kupiansk axis remains one of most difficult on front line

The Lyman-Kupiansk axis remains one of the most difficult ones on the front line, the enemy does not abandon attempts to occupy Kupiansk again, Head of the Public Liaison Service of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Volodymyr Fitio has said.
"The Lyman-Kupiansk axis remains one of the most difficult ones on the front line. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy attacked eight times, launched eight air strikes against our positions, in particular, from Su-35, Su-34 aircraft. Also, seven kamikaze drones were used. It was near Ivanivka, Kharkiv region. The enemy lost 149 of its servicemen over the past 24 hours," he said on air of the national telethon on Friday.
According to Fitio, seven enemy tanks and nine armored combat vehicles were destroyed in the Kupiansk axis.
"This is quite a lot. We can see that the enemy has intensified the use of exactly combat equipment and does not abandon attempts to occupy Kupiansk, an important logistic center," he said.
