EU foreign ministers at an informal meeting in Kyiv will discuss the situation in Ukraine, further support and the Peace Formula of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell has said.

"These kinds of meetings are called informal because, first, they are held outside the European Union, and second, because they are considered a high-level political debate, that has not the aim of reaching concrete conclusions and decisions, but these are a kind of brainstorming that we need to do among us and together with you in order to look at the situation due to the war against Ukraine, how the European Union is supporting Ukraine, and how we will continue doing that. We will study the Zelenskyy's Peace Formula in order to gather more support around the world and prepare for the summit," Borrell said during a joint approach to the media with the Ukrainian Foreign Minister in Kyiv.

Borrell said the meeting in Kyiv is a desire to show the commitment and readiness of the European Union to continue to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
