Canadian Red Cross to additionally send $25 mln in support of government's Prykhystok program – Ambassador

The Canadian Red Cross will additionally send $25 million in support of the government's Prykhystok program, Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada Yulia Kovaliv has said.

"The Canadian Red Cross will additionally send $25 million in support of the government's Prykhystok program, thanks to which thousands of Ukrainians who sheltered internally displaced persons in their homes could receive financial assistance," she wrote on Facebook.

Kovaliv noted that since the beginning of the implementation of the Prykhystok program in July 2022, the Canadian Red Cross has provided $10 million in assistance to support the project and is now significantly increasing the amount of assistance.

"We are grateful to Canadians and Canadian businesses who have joined the charity, as well as to the large team of the Canadian Red Cross and its head Conrad Sauvé for fruitful cooperation on many projects," the Ambassador stressed.
