SMS messages sent to Ukrainians on Sunday from Ukraine with reference to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine with a call to tell their story of the war through the site mywar.mkip.gov.ua is safe, the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council Ukraine reported.

"mywar.mkip.gov.ua is a website created by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine for citizens to tell their war stories for the whole world. The account from which the message was sent under the name "Ukraine" belongs to the State Special Communications Service," the Center for countering disinformation says.

At the same time, after the receipt of the specified message, messages with the following text began to appear on the network in large quantities: "Do not open, delete this in order to prevent obtaining your data." In this regard, the Center for Counteracting Disinformation warns that these intimidations are not true.

"Do not lose vigilance when you receive any messages containing any links, especially with attachment files in xlsx, exe, zip format. In no case do not click on the following links. Observe information hygiene and follow updates only from trusted sites," the Center for countering disinformation said.
