As a result of the fall of the remnants of an enemy missile in Kyiv, a residential multi-storey building is on fire, one person was killed, three ones were injured, the State Emergency Service said.

"On March 17 at 05:02, the 101 Rescue Service received a message about a fire and the destruction of a residential building in Darnytsky district of the capital. Upon arrival, the rescuers found that as a result of the fall of the remnants of the downed missile, the structures of the house on the 16th and technical floors were destroyed, as well as a fire in the apartment on the 16th floor. At 05:49 a fire broke out in an area of ​​20 square meters contained. People are being evacuated from the 11th floor of the house and rescue operations are being carried out to dismantle structures and search for people. Ten units of basic and special fire and rescue equipment, as well as 60 personnel are involved at the site. According to preliminary information, some 30 people were evacuated on the spot, of which three were injured. One person killed," the service said in the Telegram channel on Thursday.
