Ukraine, Russia agree on ceasefire from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. for population evacuation along six corridors – Vereschuk

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereschuk announced the agreement reached with the Russian Federation on the routes for the evacuation of civilians from a number of settlements, as well as an agreement on a ceasefire from 9:00 to 21:00 on Wednesday.

"At 06:30 a.m., we received a message from the Russian Federation about the coordination of the routes we had previously proposed ... We sent our letter to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and at 09:00 a.m. our Prime Minister Shmyhal Denys Anatoliyoych spoke with chief of the ICRC, Peter Maurer, about confirmation of such an agreement. The military agree to ceasefire from 09:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m. of the current day," Vereschuk said in a video message published on the Telegram channel of the President's Office on Wednesday morning.

A ceasefire regime and green corridors will be established on the following routes: Enerhodar - Zaporizhia; Sumy - Poltava; Mariupol - Zaporizhia; Volnovakha - Pokrovsk; Izium - Lozova; Vorzel, Bucha, Borodyanka, Irpin, Hostomel - Kyiv.
