Kyiv records 846 COVID-19 cases per day, 26 people died

In Kyiv, over the past day, coronavirus (COVID-19) disease was detected in 846 people, 26 previously sick died, some 567 people recovered, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. "Friends! Over the past day, some 846 patients with coronavirus were detected in Kyiv. Some 26 people died. In total, during the pandemic in the capital, 2,003 people died from the virus. There are already 114,369 confirmed cases of the disease," the mayor wrote on his Facebook page.

Thus, some 483 women, 339 men, ten girls from 1 to 15 years old and 14 boys from 2 to 15 years old fell ill. In particular, some 33 medical workers fell ill.

Some 70 patients were hospitalized in the capital's hospitals per day, the rest were on self-isolation, under the supervision of medical workers. Some 567 people recovered in a day. In total, 40,921 residents of the capital have overcome COVID-19.

"Most cases of 154 patients were found in Darnytsky district, some 125 people in Dniprovsky district and some 104 cases in Solomiansky district," Klitschko said.

As reported, as of Tuesday morning, some 5,334 new cases of COVID-19 disease were recorded in Ukraine, some 13,850 people recovered, some 123 patients died, Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov said.
