Ukraine registers 2,551 new cases of COVID-19, 45 deaths, 1,157 recoveries in past 24 hours – NSDC

 In Ukraine, as of Wednesday morning, 2,551 new cases of the coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded, while 1,157 people recovered, and 45 previously sick died, according to data published on the website of the National Security and Defense Council's Coronavirus Epidemic Monitoring System.

A day earlier, on September 8, some 2,411 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, there were 2,174 cases on September 7, some 2,107 new COVID-19 infections were recorded on September 6, a new high incidence record was registered on September 5 - 2,836 new infections over the day.

The number of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic was 143,030 people on Wednesday morning, 2,979 people have died since the start of the pandemic from COVID-19, and 64,703 people have recovered. Now in Ukraine, 75,348 people are sick with COVID-19, which is 1,349 more than the day before.

The largest number of detected cases of COVID-19 over the past day was recorded in Kyiv (310), Kharkiv (291), Lviv (196), Ternopil (190), Ivano-Frankivsk (151) and Chernivtsi (150) regions.

In addition, 3,054 suspicions of COVID-19 disease have been recorded in Ukraine as a whole over the past day.
