Metalist Kharkiv signs two Argentine players

Two Argentine footballers - Velez Sarsfield striker Jonathan Cristaldo and Lanus midfielder Sebastian Blanco – have signed five-year contracts with FC Metalist Kharkiv.
The club's press service reported, quoting Metalist President Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, that Blanco had signed for EUR 8.7 million and Cristaldo for EUR 6 million. The press service also said that the contracts had been signed on Saturday, January 8.
About a hundred Metalist fans met the football players at the airport in Kharkiv on Saturday.
"I was very happy with how Metalist welcomed me here. I have been told that Metalist are a good club and I could see that for myself as soon as I arrived. I am ready to become a part of this club and give my best to justify the trust they have put in me," Blanco said.
