National Police chief Kniazev takes part in annual conference of chiefs of world's police departments
Head of the National Police of Ukraine, 2nd rank general, Serhiy Kniazev, has taken part in the annual conference of the heads of the world's police departments, which takes place in Florida (U.S.), the Liaison Department of the National Police of Ukraine has reported.
The conference of the International Association of Chiefs of Police began its work on October 6. It will last for four days in Florida (U.S.). It is attended by police leaders of more than 100 countries.
"The first day of the conference is devoted to the issues of marketing and recruiting, in particular, the use of the new personnel policy. Therefore, participants of the events were presented the newest strategies and technologies to attract qualified personnel to serve in the police," the National Police said.
Foreign colleagues shared the experience of all stages of searching and testing candidates for police work. During the meeting, the attention of its participants was focused on various methods and ways to increase the motivation of police officers. In particular, the conference participants will consider a wide range of ways to encourage the best police officers.
"The reform of personnel work, as well as of our entire department, is continuing. And foreign innovations in the field of personnel policy are very valuable for the Ukrainian police," said Kniazev.
