Drills on repelling, deterring aggression near Sea of Azov - State Border Service
General tactical exercises have been conducted on the coast of the Sea of Azov to repel and deter aggression from the sea, the official website of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has reported.
"During the exercises, armored vehicles of the State Border Guard Service and tank units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, acting together as part of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO), improved their cooperation during the fulfillment of tasks on defense of the coast and the destruction of surface targets and enemy sea assault," the report said.
During training firing, sniper teams reinforced their skills in various conditions: machine gunners improved the accuracy of firing, and the drivers of the armored HMVs improved the driving skills during the movement in the colony, deploying into battle formation and performing defense maneuvers on the coast.
"Special attention was paid to exercises on tactical medicine, namely providing preparatory medical help on the battlefield and evacuating the wounded from the enemy's fire," the State Border Service said.
The exercises were carried out in response to the command of the JFO to maintain a high level of combat training of the JFO units.
