Policemen identify more than 80 carriers-violators over past 24 hours

Within the framework of ongoing preventive measures, the so-called "Carrier," joint mobile groups began working on the territory of Ukraine to identify and document violations in the sphere of passenger traffic, where law enforcers have revealed more than 80 violators over past 24 hours, deputy head of the National Police - head of the patrol police Oleksandr Fatsevych has said.

"During the day, 33 such joint mobile groups were provided with tasks. More than 200 buses, carrying passengers, have been checked. As a result, 87 administrative materials have been compiled," the press service of the National Police of Ukraine quoted Fatsevych as saying on Monday.

The deputy chairman of the National Police said that the members of the road safety departments of the patrol police and territorial units of the Transport Inspection were included.

Driving without the necessary documents; driving of buses that have technical malfunctions and have not passed mandatory technical control; violation of the rules for the provision of services and security requirements in the provision of transportation services for passengers; travel to the prohibition signal of traffic regulation and violation of other traffic rules are among the violations carried out by carriers.
