The mobile communications operator Kyivstar has launched the Autotracking IoT service, allowing tracking the state and location of a vehicle using an application for smartphones and two transducers, the operator has reported.

"Car owners who will connect to the service would receive messages about hitting their cars, disconnection of alarm, movement of cars or switch starting. Thus, drivers will be able to quickly react and prevent a car theft and track the location of their cars," the operator said on its website.

The Autotracking full package consists of two transducers (Autoinformer and Automayak (beacon transmitter) and a mobile application. The first one controls the state of the vehicle online, and the second is GSP tracker that sends information to the car owner several times a day.

Users can buy the full Autotracking package and install one of the transducers.

Monthly fixed fee for the full package is UAH 100, for Automayak – UAH 35 and for Autoinformer – UAH 65.

The cost of the full Autotracking service is UAH 3,699, the cost of the Automayak and Autoinformer – UAH 1,999 each.

The Autotracking service works in the Kyivstar network coverage zone in Ukraine. Automayak can be used in roaming as well.
