This is terrorist act against all Ukrainians – Liashko

KYIV. Oct 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Leader of the Radical Party Oleh Liashko has said on his Facebook page that as a result of the terrorist attack two policemen have been killed, the political analyst Vitaliy Bala has been successfully operated on and his health is not threatened.

"As a result of the terrorist attack, two policemen have been killed: Ruslan Kushnir - Ihor Mosiychuk's body guard and 36-year-old Mykhailo Mormel - the police captain who lived in the next section of the house. I sincerely sympathize with the families and friends of the victims! Vitaliy Bala has been successfully operated on, he is alive, thank God. It was a terrorist act against all Ukrainians who want to live in their own, sovereign Ukraine. The duty of law enforcement agencies (the investigation is conducted by the SBU) is to establish the paymasters and perpetrators of this bloody crime. And most importantly - to ensure peace and order in the streets, protect the life and health of Ukrainians. People are tired of chaos and fear!"

As reported, an explosion occurred when MP Mosiychuk was leaving the building of the Espreso TV channel late on October 25. Next to him was political scientist Vitaliy Bala, who was also injured in the incident. Both of them were immediately taken to hospital. Mosiychuk's security guard was also injured in the explosion and died on his way to hospital. After that Mosiychuk was successfully operated. Later he returned to consciousness and made his first statement. The explosion is qualified as a terrorist act. The investigation is under the control of the SBU.
