The Kyiv Pechersky District Court has withdrawn the arrest of the property of PJSC Rivneazot (part of Ostchem belonging to Dmytro Firtash).

The relevant court ruling of October 13 has been posted in the State Court Rulings Register.

"A Rivneazot representative, justifying the request for the cancellation of the property arrest, said that his constituent, namely a legal entity, is not related to the criminal proceedings, as not one person within criminal proceedings No. 12015100100003010 was notified of suspicion and no indictment was compiled," reads the document.

In addition, the court by its decision of September 23 withdrew the arrest of 442.196 million cubic meters of gas belonging to PJSC Severodonetsk Azot which was stored in the underground gas storage facilities (UGS) of PJSC Ukrtransgaz.

On the same day the Pechersky District Court withdrew the arrest of 49.372 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas owned by PJSC Rivneazot, 7.522 million cubic meters of gas of PJSC Stirol Concern, as well as 110 cubic meters of gas of PJSC Azot (Cherkasy). This entire amount is also in the Ukrtransgaz UGS.

As mentioned in the documents, the court considered the opinion of investigator A.M.Polischuk and the representatives of Gaz Ukrainy and NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy who did not oppose the lifting of the arrest.

As reported, the property of Rivneazot and the gas of the Ostchem companies in the UGS were arrested by the Pechersky court within the Interior Ministry's investigation into the case on suspicion of the officials of Gaz Ukrainy and Ostchem of stealing public funds in a large scale.
