Ukrnafta pays UAH 200 mln of dividends to state for 2014

Public joint-stock company Ukrnafta has paid UAH 200 million in dividends to the state for 2014, Chairman Mark Rollins told reporters on Thursday in Kyiv.

"This week we've paid a part of dividends for 2014 – UAH 200 million. Dividends for 2014 have not been paid in the full amount – it is planned to finish [payments] by the end of this week or early next week," he said.

Rollins said that in the future, the company will work on paying the dividends for other periods and it will hold negotiations with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine within one month on paying the company's tax debt.

"In the coming 30 days we plan to discuss payments of taxes with the government and agree to the plan how to fulfill this," he said.

Rollins said that the company does not have enough funds to pay dividends as well as taxes.

He said that he plans to present the development program for Ukrnafta in January-February 2016 and it will focus on gas production.

He added that he will propose that shareholders in the company should refuse to receive dividends and instead invest the funds in the development of Ukrnafta.
