There won't be better Ukraine debt restructuring terms for Russia – Yatseniuk

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has once again called on Russia to accept the terms for restructuring Ukraine's foreign commercial debt that were earlier agreed upon with the international creditor committee.

"Russia demands the repayment of the entire debt. Speaking from this rostrum, I want to declare once again that there will not be better terms for Russia. Either the Russian Federation agrees to accept these terms or it will not be offered any other conditions," Yatseniuk said in the Ukrainian parliament on Thursday, when presenting a package of bills on debt restructuring.

Russia remains the only country that is opposed to the restructuring of Ukraine's debt and demands its full repayment, whereas the International Monetary Fund and the G7 have supported this agreement with the creditors, he noted.
