Sound of shots audible at dawn in Mukacheve - TV

KYIV. July 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Mukacheve in Zakarpattia region was quiet last night yet the sound of single sorts was audible at dawn on Monday, a correspondent of the television channel 112. Ukraine said in a live program.

"The night was quiet in Mukacheve, but single shots were fired early in the morning, at about 4 a.m.," the correspondent reported in the morning.

tA number of armored personnel carriers and 'Kozak' armored vehicles are staying in the area where members of the Right Sector are believed to be hiding. Servicemen are deployed there as well.

"Another few armored vehicles have been seen riding towards the dacha area," she said.

There has been no official confirmation to the report about shots fired in the morning and similar reports posted by the local media as of 8 a.m. on Monday.

As reported earlier, twelve armed members of the Right Sector who were engaged in the Saturday shootout are still hiding from the police and have not laid down their weapons.
