Air crash inquiry results to be announced upon completion of investigation - Ukrainian prosecutors
Ukraine, the Netherlands, Belgium and Australia have agreed that details of the inquiry into the causes of the Boeing 777 crash will not be announced before the inquiry has been completed, according to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office.
On August 7 the four countries signed an agreement aimed at gathering evidence linked to the events of the Malaysian Boeing crash, spokesman for the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office Yuriy Boichenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
"In accordance with this agreement, no information will be provided to the press or distributed otherwise, unless permitted by other parties. So we can only say that relevant forensic tests and investigative procedures are being carried out but information about the results will only be publicized upon completion of the inquiry and with the consent of all the parties to the agreement," the spokesman said.
