OSCE to start monitoring border after improvement of situation in eastern Ukraine

The OSCE is ready to start monitoring the Ukrainian-Russian border after the improvement of the security situation in the eastern regions of the country, spokesperson for the OSCE special monitoring mission Michael Bociurkiw has said.

"If the security situation allows us to be involved in monitoring the border, we will definitely join," he said at a briefing at the crisis center on Wednesday.

He said that this question was currently being actively discussed at the level of foreign ministers of the OSCE countries.
