Ukrainian Health Ministry: death toll of confrontation reaches 225 in Donetsk region, 45 in Luhansk

Since the beginning of armed confrontation in Eastern Ukraine in April, 225 people have died in Donetsk region and 45 in Luhansk region, the press service of the Ukrainian Health Ministry reports.
"Since the beginning of confrontation in the east of Ukraine to this day according to the Donetsk regional administration's health department, 225 people have died in Donetsk region (confirmed by forensic medicine bureau), eight of them women. There are also tentative reports of the death of two children," the ministry says.
In addition, 576 people have sought medical assistance in relation to wounds and 150 of them remain in hospitals, one of them a child aged 14.
Meanwhile, the health department of Luhansk regional administration reports the death of 45 people (confirmed by the forensic medicine bureau), seven of them women. A total of 137 people were injured.
Earlier Ukrainian Health Minister Oleh Musiy reported that 210 dead bodies were taken to morgues in Eastern Ukraine during the time of the antiterrorist operation.
