The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine will provide its maximum support for Ukrainian manufacturers while entering the European markets as soon as a free trade area (FTA) with the EU is created, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara has said.

"An FTA with the EU brings serious challenges to national manufacturers, especially in specific fields. Adapting Ukrainian businesses to work under such conditions is an extremely important task for us, and the Foreign Ministry is ready to provide its maximum support to national manufacturers on the EU market during the introduction of the free trade regime," Kozhara said at a meeting with the administrations of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and regional chambers of commerce and industry in Kyiv on Thursday.

He also said that today the ministry regularly informs national manufacturers about opportunities and conditions of work on the European markets.
