Ukraine forms membership of its delegation to parliamentary cooperation committee with EU
The Ukrainian part of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee has been formed, reads a posting on the Web site of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament.
According to the posting, Ukraine's delegation to the committee includes 16 people's deputies, including seven Regions Party faction members, four Batkivschyna faction members, two UDAR faction members, one member each from the Svoboda faction and the Communist Party faction, and one independent parliamentarian.
In particular, the committee's Ukrainian part includes MPs Oleksiy Azarov, Iryna Berezhna, Hanna Herman (Regions Party), Hryhoriy Nemyria, Borys Tarasiuk (Batkivschyna), Rostyslav Pavlenko (UDAR), Oleh Pankevych (Svoboda), Serhiy Balandin (Communist Party), Petro Poroshenko (independent MP) and others.
As reported, the committee's meeting scheduled for April has been postponed due to the fact that its Ukrainian part was not formed in time.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on European Integration Hryhoriy Nemyria said that the meeting would be held in early June 2013.
