Some 150 injured in Chelyabinsk region following "meteor shower" - Interior Ministry

As many as 150 people were injured after meteorite pieces fell in the Chelyabinsk region on Friday, a Russian Interior Ministry spokesman told Interfax.

"The number of those injured keeps growing. It currently stands at some 150 people," he said.
