The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is to submit a draft national budget for 2013 to the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, on Monday.

"Today the Cabinet of Ministers will submit the draft national budget for 2013 to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn said at a meeting of the parliamentary council of faction heads and committee chairmen in Kyiv on Monday.

Lytvyn also proposed that the Verkhovna Rada consider the government's proposals on the 2013 national budget on December 4, and instructed the profile committee to develop a relevant bill by Wednesday, so as to vote on the draft budget on Thursday.

Lytvyn also suggested that the draft national budget be presented to parliament on Tuesday.

According to Lytvyn, after the consideration of the draft 2013 national budget on Thursday the parliament's session should be officially closed.
