Polish President Andrzej Duda asked the head of the Ukrainian state Volodymyr Zelenskyy to consider the possibility of a Polish representative being present at potential peace talks with Russia.

"We also talked about potential peace talks. I say 'potential' because there are currently no peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, but we talked about possible peace talks. I assured the president that I raise the issue at every international forum so that Ukraine is always represented at the table of any peace talks," Duda said at a press conference with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in Warsaw.

He said that no talks about Ukraine, about ending the war, about the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine can take place without Ukraine's participation.

"I also asked the president to consider the possibility of having a representative of Poland at the negotiating table, as a country neighboring Ukraine, as a country supporting Ukraine, because our interests in this regard coincide," Duda said.
