Zelenskyy: Germany's share in assistance to Ukraine is around 16%

Germany's share in the amount of assistance provided to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war is 16%, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Tuesday.
"Actually, Germany helped Ukraine. Its contribution is around 16% of the assistance obtained by Ukraine. Sixteen percent is a very serious figure. We are especially grateful for the fact that at the difficult moments of sky protection and blackouts Germany, probably, made one of the largest contributions into the protection of Ukrainian sky and the development of the newest Ukrainian air defense system," he said ahead of a meeting with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, the head of the state thanked Germany for providing the Patriot, IRIS-T and other air defense capabilities which help to protect the Ukrainian sky.
Zelenskyy also noted the importance of enlarging the production of Gepard systems.
"This is very important. They protect our critical infrastructure, including the energy system, really strongly," he said.
The President of Ukraine thanked Germany for its leadership along with the United States in the Ukraine Defense Contact Group.
"We are grateful for this union of the defense ministers where everything is decided every months and rather quickly, and we hope to hold such meetings in February," he said.
