Rheinmetall to supply Ukraine with another 20 Marder 1A3 infantry fighting vehicles

Rheinmetall received an order in December 2024 for the supply of 20 more Marder 1A3 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine and plans to deliver a batch in the first half of 2025, the company's press service reports.
"The cost of the order is an average double-digit amount in millions of euros. Germany will finance the delivery," the message says.
It is noted that the version B of 1A3 Marder is equipped with an additional laser rangefinder for effective and accurate target destruction. The first 20 combat vehicles of this type were delivered to Rheinmetall Group on behalf of the German government in March 2023.
In the spring of 2022, Rheinmetall began major repairs of Marder 1A3 infantry fighting vehicles from its warehouses at its own expense. Since then, combat vehicles have been continuously repaired and supplied for immediate deployment.
