Zelenskyy signs law on state budget for 2025

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed into law the bill on the state budget of Ukraine for 2025, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said on Thursday.

"The defense of our state remains the priority of the budget. Funding of security and defense forces, purchase and production of weapons, drones and equipment. For this we allocate UAH 2.23 trillion," he said in a Telegram message.

In addition, according to the Prime Minister, UAH 420.9 billion will be allocated for social protection, UAH 217 billion – for health care, and UAH 199 billion – for education.

"In total, next year's expenditures are planned at the level of UAH 3.6 trillion. Revenues – at UAH 2.05 trillion. The government clearly understands that we will pass the next fiscal year confidently. There is coherence of the branches of power and strong support of our partners," the Prime Minister said.
