URCS volunteers take part in rescue operation in Zaporizhia after Russian shelling

Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) took part in a rescue operation in the areas of the city of Zaporizhia shelled by Russians on Tuesday evening.
"Another shelling of Zaporizhia. Bombs hit the private sector of the city... The team of the Zaporizhia rapid response unit worked side by side with rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and employees of the National Police of Ukraine at the shelling sites," the URCS reported on Facebook on Wednesday.
At two locations, the URCS volunteers provided psychological and first aid to the victims.
As reported, the Russian occupiers carried out four strikes (preliminary - with guided aerial bombs) on the territory of the regional center. As of Wednesday morning, seven victims are known. The hits were recorded on the territory of the cemetery and in the private sector. During the shelling, residential buildings of citizens were destroyed, the blast wave and debris damaged houses, garages and outbuildings, cars, and infrastructure facilities.
