AFU General Staff: Russian troops drop 11 smart bombs on border of Sumy/Chernihiv regions, 15 on Kursk region

Since the beginning of the day, Russian troops have dropped 11 aerial bombs on the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, and 15 on settlements in Kursk region of the Russian Federation, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

"Volkivka, Nova Sloboda, Velyka Berezka, Porokhon and Hremyach were shelled by enemy artillery. The invaders carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Shalyhyne, Nova Sloboda, Rechky and Novomykolayivka, dropping 11 bombs. Today, the enemy has already dropped 15 Russian smart bombs on Kursk region of the Russian Federation," the General Staff said on Facebook as of 16:00 on Monday.

It is also reported that Scherbynivka, on which nine smart bombs have already been dropped, suffers from enemy air strikes in Toretsk direction.

"In Lyman axis, the enemy also launched air strikes on Novoyehorivka and Kucherivka," the General Staff informs, adding that settlements and civilian infrastructure in Horikhove direction are constantly being subjected to air strikes.
