AFU launch comprehensive program to preserve military personnel's life
By instruction of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have completed the development and launched the implementation of a comprehensive action program "Preserving Life of Military Personnel."
"We are grateful to the volunteers and public activists who joined in our work. The proposals and experience shared during a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU were taken into account and are already being partially implemented," the General Staff said on Facebook on Wednesday.
The program "Preserving Life of Military Personnel" is a universal system for each detachment and its key priority is the preservation of life of each Ukrainian fighter.
The program will be focused on the improvement of training Ukrainian servicemen, ensuring rest for the personnel that carries out combat tasks, and improvement of medical care at all stages.
"An important aspect of the implementation of the program is the actions of unit commanders, because they are entrusted with maximum responsibility for preserving the lives of personnel. We are fighting for our land, but the life of a Ukrainian soldier is the most important. The position can be returned, life cannot," the General Staff said.
Work on the practical implementation of the program will continue under the personal supervision of the Commander-in-Chief.
