Yaroslavsky to submit documents to NBU for purchase of PIB soon

Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, the owner and president of DCH Group, has not submitted a package of documents to agree on the purchase of a significant stake in Prominvestbank (PIB), but intends to do so in the near future.

"The documents are now being prepared. I think we will submit them within 10-12 days," Yaroslavsky said at a briefing.

In early August the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine reported that on July 14 the NBU received a letter from the representatives of Yaroslavsky, which expressed the intention to submit to the NBU a package of documents in future to agree on the acquisition of a significant stake in Prominvestbank.

It was also reported that on July 28 the committee on supervision and regulation of banks' activities, oversight (oversight) of payment systems of the National Bank of Ukraine decided to refuse Maksym Mykytas and Pavlo Fuks the acquisition of significant participation in Prominvestbank. The central bank noted the potential buyers had not provided necessary documents to check investors for compliance with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation.
