Online service for advertisers with pirate website list launched in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Anti-Pirate Association (UAPA) and the Clear Sky initiative have created the http://blacklists.org.ua service to help companies to receive up-to-date information on websites that violate intellectual property rights every month.

They said in a press release that thanks to the service advertisers will be able to receive information to their e-mails every month and secure the companies from reputation, financial and other risks.

Monitoring advertising on pirate websites, which UAPA makes, is a print screen of pages of violating websites with advertisements of various brands posted on them with time fixation. The information is updated once a month.

"The service for advertisers is a big step on the way to civilized interaction of the market players with different focus of businesses. The right holders are ready to provide information about the resources that violate their intellectual property rights. Advertisers, in turn, should pay attention to this firsthand information and protect their brands and reputation," a representative of the Clear Sky initiative, Kateryna Fedorova, said.

The service organizers plan to expand the list of right holders that participate in the compilation of the list.
