NBU permits international institutions to provide humanitarian aid to individuals using e-money

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has permitted international institutions to provide humanitarian aid to individuals using electronic money, the central bank has said in its website.

Amendments to the provision on e-money in Ukraine are outlined in NBU resolution No. 358 dated July 26, 2016 that took effect on July 30, 2016.

The document improves the procedure for filing documents to the NBU by banks that seek to issue electronic money.

KYIV. Aug 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has permitted international institutions to provide humanitarian aid to individuals using electronic money, the central bank has said in its website.
