The audited profit of Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv) after taxation under international financial reporting standards (IFRS) in 2015 amounted to UAH 540.2 million, the press service of the airport has told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the source, the airport passed an audit under international standards for 2013-2015 held by BDO.

"In accordance with international financial reporting standards, in 2015 the state enterprise for the first time in three years became profitable, obtaining more than UAH 700 million of profit. The profit of Boryspil airport after taxation under IFRS in 2015 amounted to UAH 540.2 million, whereas in 2014 it recorded a loss of UAH 513.3 million, and in 2013 a loss of UAH 77.4 million," the press service said.

According to the airport's annual financial statements under Ukrainian accounting standards, posted in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, the net profit of the airport in 2015 amounted to UAH 696.46 million, while net loss in 2014 was UAH 126.818 million. In 2013 its net profit amounted to UAH 126.5 million.
