Heat tariffs for Kyiv residents to rise by 1.8-2.1 times from July

Heat tariffs for the consumers of PJSC Kyivenergo from July will increase by 2.1 times (by UAH 564.97/Gcal), to UAH 1,096/Gcal (excluding VAT), according to the website of the National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER).

At the same time, heat tariffs for the consumers of Euro-Reconstruction LLC (Darnytska combined heat and power plant) will increase by 84.5% (by UAH 434.09/Gcal), to UAH 947.74/Gcal (excluding VAT).

Central heating tariffs for Kyiv residents, which will take effect on July 1, have not been made public: they take into account heat tariffs and costs for the maintenance of consumer service.

As reported, with reference to NCER Head Dmytro Vovk, the main driver of growth was the adoption by the government of the decision to raise the ceiling tariff for gas sold to heating enterprises for further use for the needs of the population from UAH 2,994 to UAH 6,810 per 1,000 cubic meters (including transportation tariffs and VAT).
