Ukraine's intl reserves 0.4% up in Feb

Ukraine's international reserves in February 2016 increased by $47.91 million or 0.4% and reached $13.49 billion as of March 1, 2016, according to the revised data posted on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Monday.

The NBU said on March 4 that international reserves reached $13.538 billion as of March 1.

Ukraine's international reserves dropped by 63% in 2014, to $7.53 billion from $20.42 billion, while in 2015 they increased by 77% or $5.767 billion, to $13.3 billion.

The central bank plans to increase international reserves to $19.6 billion by late 2016, thanks to continued cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and expected revenues of $1 billion from privatization.
