Finance Minister of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko has ordered that Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Roman Nasirov checks all customs clearance actions settled under the relaxed imports procedure for 2015 and early 2016 and submits the findings of the investigation to law enforcement agencies.

"I order that Head of the State Customs Service Roman Nasirov checks all customs clearance actions under the relaxed imports procedure ІМ40ЕА in 2015 and January 2016," she said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.

Jaresko said that in 2015, 30,000 customs declarations worth UAH 21.2 billion were registered using the simplified procedure, which is 9.2% of the total number of all imports customs declarations, while in 2014, 27,000 customs declarations worth UAH 12.2 billion were resisted registered using the procedure, or 7.4% of the total number of all imports customs declarations.

She also ordered that Nasirov draws up risk profiles that would make impossible the application of the ІМ40ЕА procedure to unfair enterprises and agrees them with the Finance Ministry and finalizes the automated customs clearance system, depriving customs officers of the technical possibility of allowing the ІМ40ЕА procedure if the risk analysis system reveals substantial risks.
