Switzerland is ready to invest $100 million in Ukrainian agriculture in the next four years, Swiss Ambassador to Ukraine and Moldova Christian Schoenenberger has said.

"We'd like to present that in next four years the program of cooperation between Switzerland and Ukraine with a total investment of $100 million which we're ready to spend on agriculture will be in effect," he said at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Oilseeds Black Sea crushing plant in Odesa region on Thursday.

An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported that the ambassador said that despite the economic crisis in Ukraine, no Swiss company stopped its operation in the country, adding that Switzerland is also interested in investing in infrastructure and healthcare in Ukraine.
