Court lifts ban on money transfer to DTEK Vostokenergo for power generation in ATO zone - MP
The Donetsk Regional Administrative Court has suspended NCER resolution No. 158 of February 2, 2015 on DTEK Vostokenergo LLC halting payments for energy generation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone.
MP Serhiy Leschenko (Petro Poroshenko Bloc) posted a copy of the relevant decision of February 14 on his Facebook page.
"Akhmetov's Vostokenergo turns into a struggle for the money of Ukrainian citizens shoulder to shoulder with Yanukovych's Donbasenergo. Akhmetov by the decision of the Donetsk court, sitting now in Sloviansk, suspended the NCER decision, which prohibited money transfer to the zone occupied by the DPR and LPR militants. Akhmetov and Yanukovych want state enterprise Energomarket to pay for electricity produced and consumed in the occupied territories," the MP wrote.
Leschenko said from the middle of January, according to Ukrenergo, the flow of electricity from the ATO zone to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities is trending towards zero.
"According to sources, on Monday evening Energomarket transferred UAH 410 million to Akhmetov under the court decision. However, the money has not been received by the consignee – it was blocked by the State Service of Ukraine for Financial Monitoring," the MP said.
As reported, on January 13 the Kyiv District Administrative Court made a similar decision in respect of PJSC Donbasenergo. On the same day, Energomarket transferred UAH 200 million to the accounts of Donbasenergo. These funds were then blocked by the fiscal monitoring authority.
