President proposes dismissing NBU Governor Kubiv
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has proposed dismissing Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Stepan Kubiv.
A respective draft resolution, No. 4112a, was registered in parliament on June 18.
As reported, the NBU head is appointed by the Verkhovna Rada under a motion from the president for a term of seven years. Kubiv took up the post of NBU governor in February this year.
