Fomenko names Ukraine squad for matches against Cameroon and Montenegro

Ukraine manager Mykhailo Fomenko has disclosed the list of players who will participate in a friendly match against Cameroon on June 2 and a 2014 World Cup qualifier against Montenegro on June 7.

"Dnipro received the largest representation in the national team - eight players. Dynamo is represented by seven players, and Shakhtar is represented by six players. Metalist Kharkiv, Arsenal Kyiv and Illichivets Mariupol will each delegate two players to Ukraine's national team, and one player will be delegated each from Metalurh Donetsk and Bayern Munich," the press service of the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) reported on Monday.

Recent newcomers were invited to the national team for the second time, in particular, Shakhtar midfielder Dmytro Hrechyshkin, who played his first match for the national team against Moldova on March 26, and Arsenal Kyiv midfielder Andriy Bohdanov, who made his debut in a friendly match against Norway on February 6.

Dynamo goalkeeper Maksym Koval was invited to the national team by the current coach for the first time. He last participated in the training camp for World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Montenegro in October 2012.

Metalist midfielder Edmar was called up to the team for the second time in his career. The ethnic Brazilian, who has long obtained Ukrainian citizenship, has already played one match for the national team – on July 28, 2011 against Sweden.
