Representatives of the 14 clubs of the Russian Premier League, Premier League President Sergei Pryadkin, Acting Director General of the Ukrainian Premier League Petro Ivanov and a representative of Ukraine's FC Tavriya Simferopol have attended a presentation of a unified football league in Moscow.

Only representatives of Terek Grozny and Mordovia Saransk were not present at the presentation.

"According to the initiators of the project, the championship should unite clubs from the Ukrainian and Russian premier leagues, which will help bring European and national football to a qualitatively high level," the United Football Championship independent non-profit organization said in a press release.

United Football Championship was founded on December 26, 2012 on the initiative of a number of clubs in the Russian Premier League.

The supervisory board of the organization includes FC Anji Makhachkala owner Suleiman Kerimov, CSKA President Yevgeny Giner and Zenit St. Petersburg President Alexander Dyukov. President of the Russian Premier League Sergei Pryadkin was elected head of the supervisory board.
