Next week, the Okhmatdyt National Specialized Children's Hospital plans to select a construction company that will carry out work to eliminate the consequences of the missile attack on Monday and restore the hospital; about UAH 800 million have already been received from philanthropists.

"At the beginning of next week, Okhmatdyt will select a construction company that will carry out construction work to eliminate the consequences of the missile attack," Health Minister Viktor Liashko said at a briefing on Friday.

He also added that the clinic and the Ministry of Health are beginning to develop technical specifications for the design of a new building, which will be built on the site of the completely destroyed one.

Liashko reported that more than UAH 800 million had been deposited into accounts from charitable foundations, partners. The funds will be used, in particular, for the construction of a new building on the site of the destroyed one.

According to preliminary estimates, as the Minister of Health noted, the clinic will require replacement of equipment in the amount of about UAH 360-400 million. At the same time, he confirmed that requests for its supply are being received from equipment manufacturing companies. The list of equipment will be determined by Okhmatdyt.
